Patient of the Month:  October 2011

Jack is a realtor with Keller Williams. He always has a smile on his face each and every time he walks into the office. After 3 months of walking with a cane and crutches, Jack had a left total knee replacement on April 26, 2011. The following is his recount of his experience following surgery:

The surgery and three days in the Joint Center at Pardee Hospital went very smoothly. I went to a rehab center after surgery for two weeks. When I left, I walked without assistance and had over 120 degrees of flexibility. This has made a world of difference in showing properties to clients.

The new knee has allowed me to resume my golf game, although it didn’t improve it for some reason. The bad news is that it enabled me to resume mowing my yard and weed-eating the steep hill behind my home. My wife is thrilled as she doesn’t have to drop me off at the door when we go somewhere and her ‘honey-do’ list is back in operation.

We, at Hendersonville Orthopedics, are proud to have Jack as a patient and thank him for his business. Those of you looking for a home, remember him at Keller Williams!
