Patient of the Month:  November 2011

Eileen is a patient of Dr. Brian Seng. She underwent a left total hip replacement in 2010 and a right total hip replacement in 2011. She is a precious patient and we have enjoyed taking care of her while getting to know her and her husband, Don. The following are her words regarding the surgery:

In 2010, Dr. Seng said he could improve the quality of my life with surgery. Although I was apprehensive and somewhat uncooperative, he did exactly that with two total hip replacements. The increase in mobility has resulted in losing weight. I will always be grateful to Dr. Seng, the Joint Camp Program, and for my husband’s support (they’ve been married 58 years).

Eileen undertook a project and surprised Dr. Seng with the following pants embellished with her incisions exact to position and length. The purple button is a reference point (her belly button). You can see the picture attached below.
